独立学院学生英语应用能力水平分析

摘　　要：独立学院英语教学及其学生英语水平一直是教育界关注的一个焦点。本文通过试卷测试和问卷调查,对其英语应用能力水平展开较为透彻的分析,并运用心理语言学、二语习得和认知学的有关理论对其水平能力现状的原因予以探析,发现造成独立学院学生英语应用能力较差的因素是多方面的,应引起广泛的关注。独立学院教师和学生都应针对各自的问题采取有效措施,提高英语应用能力,以适应社会的需要。Independent College English Teaching and the students＇ English proficiency has been a focus.Through paper tests and questionnaires,this paper analyses the students＇ English proficiency level and its causes by using psycholinguistics,second language acquisition and cognitive science theories.The results find many factors contribute to poor English proficiency of independent College students.Teachers and students in independent colleges should take effective measures to improve their English proficiency to meet the needs of society.
