摘　　要：大学英语教学一直蹒跚在改革的征途中,其具体执行者大学英语教师,至关重要,担负着教学改革重任的大学英语教师面临外在压力及内在困惑。遵照教育部颁发的《大学英语课程教学要求》,摆脱困境发展自我可以有三种方向。无论何种方向,实现教师自我可持续性发展,必须深化教师认知、变为"教学研究型"教师以及重新认识教学能力。The ELT pedagogical innovation and change have been staggering in the journey. The role of university English teachers, who are class practitioner, is crucial in pedagogical innovations, is crucial. College English teachers face external pressures and internal confusion. In line with the ＂College English Curriculum Requirements＂ issued by the Ministry of Education, there seems to be three directions to ease the plight for the self-development. Whatever the direction, to achieve self-sustainability, we must deepen teachers＇ cognition, trans- form into the research-oriented teachers and reexamine teaching ability.
