基于人本主义教育观的大学英语教学研究——以培养学生中西文化英语表达能力为例

摘　　要：本研究以江苏省某大学的150名非英语专业本科一年级学生为研究对象,结果表明,研究对象学习的主要目的是通过考试,掌握的中西文化英语表达基本来源于课堂学习,习得的内容较为有限,用英语表达中西方文化的能力不足。为了提高教学效率,增强学生的国际交流能力,大学英语教学应当从知本主义向人本主义教育观转变,让学生认识到语言文化学习的重要意义,产生自我实现的内心动力,积极主动地培养中西文化英语表达能力,应对社会发展需要。At present, the main goal of college English education is to develop students＇ comprehensive ability, enabling them to communicate with people from other cultures. However, through a pilot study on 150 university students＇ ability to express Chinese and western cultures in English, the author finds that these students could not satisfactorily express culture-loaded words in English, and they learned expressions only from textbooks and teachers. Based on the results of the study, this article intends to discuss the necessity of introducing Humanism-based teaching, which can make students realize the importance of fostering their ability to use English, encourage their inner drive in learning and improveing teaching efficiency.
