摘　　要：教学离不开研究,“1342”工程是一项重视教师科研的大学英语教研工程。实施这项工程,有利于促进教学质量的提高,实现课堂教学由“时间型”向“效益型”转变,由“应试型”向“素质型”转变。Teaching is inseparable to research.The “1342' project is a college English teaching and research projet attaching much attention to the teachers' scientific research.It's necessary to promote the improvement of teaching quality and realize the transformation of class teaching from “time type' to “efficiency type' and from “test type' to “quality type'.
