摘　　要：儿童的成长是儿童自身的"内在自然"朝向"自然目标"的展开,社会文化是这种展开的必要条件,因而在不同的社会或文化中儿童的社会或文化表现会有所不同。儿童具有很强的可塑性,这并不意味着成人可以改变儿童成长的轨迹和速率。儿童是自己的创造者,成人不宜随心所欲地"设计"或"塑造"儿童。儿童与成人一样享有"目的"地位,成人应"跟随儿童"而非"创造儿童"。儿童研究是现代教育学研究的原点。对现代儿童观内涵的深入探究和挖掘,可为教育观的现代转型提供必要的理论前提。The growth of the child is the process during which his or her ＇inner nature＇ unfolds itself towards its ＇natural goal＇. Society and culture is the necessary condition of the unfolding, so the performances of children in different soeieties or cultures will be different. The adult could not design or shape the ehild arbitrarily. Both of the child and the adult enjoy the same ＇purpose＇ status. The adult should ＇follow the ehild＇ rather than ＇create the ehild＇. Child study is the origin of the modem pedagogy researeh. Further exploration of the connotation of the view of the child can provide the theoretical premise for the modernization of pedagogy.
