摘  要:医学遗传学是医学专业的重要基础课程,也是生命科学中的前沿学科。边疆地区高等医学院校有自己的地区和生源特点,如何改进边疆地区高等医学院校的医学遗传学教学,一直是教育工作者探讨的课题。根据师资特点和优势,借鉴国外医学遗传学课程教学经验,坚持教学与当今科技发展同步的理念,在教学中辅以文献资料,培养学生的发散思维能力,精简与其他课程的重叠内容,挤出时间讲解教科书外的知识,采用多种灵活多样的教学手段,帮助学生记忆和理解,使边疆地区高等医学院校的医学遗传学教学与发达地区看齐。As a foundamental course,medical genetics plays an important role in the medical field and it is the frontier discipline of life science. The medical universities in border areas have their own regional characteristics and student source. How to improve the teaching quality in the medical genetics has been a question that we are thinking of. Based on the advantages of teaching resources, as well as the teaching style in the medical genetics absorbed from western universities, the exploration of teaching supplemented students with research papers during teaching process, with the aim of the synchronism of modem science and the rapid development of technology and cultivating students' divergent thinking ability. In addition, the overlapping materials with other courses was streamlined by adopting different teaching styles to help students to memorize and understand course materials. As a result, the teaching level of medical genetics in medical universities in border areas can follow the steps of the medical universities in developed areas.
