摘　　要：语义翻译(Semantic Translation)和交际翻译(Communicative Translation)是著名翻译理论家彼得·纽马克翻译理论的核心,本文试以D.W.卡罗尔(David W.Carroll)所著的《语言心理学》(Psychology of Language)为例,阐述语义与交际翻译在"信息型文本"翻译中的应用。Semantic translation and communicative translation are the core theory of British translation theorist Peter Newmark′s translation theory. This paper analyzes the application of both methods based on the translation of seventh chapter of Psychology of Language.
