摘　　要：高职院校大学英语课程在过去近二十年内进行了不断的探索和教学改革,已逐步凸显职业教育特色。从课程设置、教学模式、教学评估和教师发展四个方面对广东省高职院校大学英语课程教学情况进行较为全面的调查。在此基础上,探讨高职大学英语教学改革:从采用能力培养为主导的教学模式、建立完善的质量评价体系、培养双师型的高素质教师三个方面构建培养学生英语应用能力的课程体系。College English has been explored and reformed in the past twenty years at higher vocational colleges and gradually come to its own shape. This study has investigated the teaching situation of college English at fifty-two colleges in Guangdong province on the curriculum setting, the teaching models, the evaluation of teaching and the development of teachers. Based on the results, this study explores the solution to the posed questions.
