摘　　要：本文在对中医院校ESP(English for specific purposes)教学现状分析的基础上,对中医药ESP教学进行了思考,提出提高学生自主学习的积极性、重视学生学习需求和改进教学方法是授课教师必须关注的重要问题。同时,结合本人教学实践和体会,从教学理念、教学目标、教学方法、教学评价等方面,对中医药ESP教学提出建议,供中医英语教学者参考。This article is based on the analysis of the current ESP （English for specific purposes） teaching in university of tradi- tional Chinese medicine. It pointed out that the teachers should inspire the internal motivation of the students, meet their learning requirements and improve teaching approaches. Combined with the authors＇ teaching practice and experience, it also gave some advice on ESP teaching from the aspects of teaching philosophy, teaching objectives, teaching methods, and teaching evaluation, which might be a reference for TCM English instructors.
