摘  要:工程教育要永远面向工程实践。在新时代的工程教育改革和工程认证大环境下,从中国的国情、校情出发,借鉴CDIO等国内外先进的教育理念,提出了对工程教育具有普适性的STEP教学模式。为此,对STEP的内涵以及STEP与工程认证、STEP与CDIO之间的关系进行了阐述;考虑STEP教学模式在课程群以及本研一体化等方面的可扩展性,提出了STEP BY STEP的教学模式。其中,单一课程中的STEP教学模式强调项目训练、软件使用、理论教学与实验教学等教学环节之间的有机融合;课程群或本研一体化系列课中更强调知识体系的关联性、项目设置的层次性与不同软件工具的无缝连接,做到真正意义上的STEP BY STEP(进阶)。近5年,两种层次的STEP教学模式在机械原理、精密机械设计等少数课程中进行尝试,取得了良好的教学效果。教学实践验证了STEP教学对工程教育的有效性。Engineering education should always be oriented to engineering practice.Under the background of current engineering education reform and engineering accreditation,STEP teaching mode,which can be widely used in engineering education in most universities of China,is proposed based on the situation of China and universities and some advanced educational ideas such as CDIO initiative etc.The paper classifies the notation of STEP,the similarity and relationship between STEP and engineering accreditation and CDIO.Based on the ability of extending STEP mode can be extended to the course group and the integration of undergraduates and graduates,the paper puts forwards a STEP BY STEP teaching mode.The STEP BY STEP teaching mode will be achieved by the following aspects:the dynamic integration of project training,software using,theory teaching,experiment teaching and other teaching steps in the single STEP mode;focus on relevance within the knowledge framework,the hierarchy of various projects and the seamless connection between different software in course group and the integration of undergraduates and graduates.In the last five years,both the aspects of STEP teaching modes have been introduced into some undergraduate and graduate courses such as Machine and Mechanism Theory,Precision Machine Design,etc.,which turned to have a good teaching effect.These teaching practices have verified the effectiveness of the proposed STEP mode on engineering education.
