摘　　要：在英语教学中培养学生的联想思维能力,能起到温故知新、调动积极性、培养创新意识等作用。教师要树立为思维而教的教学理念,采取灵活有效的教学策略把联想思维能力的培养渗透于教学内容之中,引导、帮助学生形成联想思维,培养学生应用联想思维的习惯,使学生改变学习方式,发展创造力。The cultivation of students'associative thinking ability in English teaching can play the role of reviewing the old and learning the new,mobilizing enthusiasm and cultivating innovative consciousness.Teachers should establish the teaching concept of teaching for thinking,adopt flexible and effective teaching strategies,infiltrate the cultivation of associative thinking ability into the teaching content,guide and help students form associative thinking,cultivate students'habit of applying associative thinking,and make students change their learning methods and develop their creativity.
