摘　　要：得体、准确的翻译是英汉翻译的终极目标,语用学因其对翻译现象有极强的解释力,逐渐被全方位应用在英汉翻译研究中。遵循语用学理论在英汉翻译中的流程,注重英汉语言的差异与平衡,采用等效翻译等多种方法,综合判断不同语境下的翻译策略。Proper and accurate translation is the ultimate goal of English-Chinese translation.Since pragmatics has great explanatory power for translation,it gets gradually applied in English-Chinese translation studies.This paper explores the pragmatic theory and its application in English-Chinese translation,and puts forward some translation strategies like following the process of pragmatics in English-Chinese translation,considering the diff erences and balance between English and Chinese,adopting various methods such as equivalent translation,and comprehensively judging translation strategies in diff erent contexts,etc.
