摘　　要：以国内外译界对翻译能力的界定为基础探讨中医英译能力要素的构建,认为其包含内驱力、英汉双语能力、翻译理论知识、翻译实践能力和中医知识等。提出需要开发以培养中医药对外传播交流人才为目标、以中医英译理论与英译实践为基础、以培养中医英译能力为核心的中医英译课程,培养复合型中医英译人才,以推进中医药国际化进程和中医药文化“走出去”战略的实施。This paper discusses the elements of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)English translation competence based on the definitions of translation competence given by western and domestic scholars,and believes that it includes internal drive,English-Chinese bilingual ability,translation theory knowledge,translation practice ability and TCM knowledge.It proposes to design and develop TCM English translation curriculum,with cultivating talents for TCM global dissemination as the goal,TCM English translation theories and practice as the basis,and developing TCM English translation competence as the core,to cultivate compound TCM English translators for promoting the implementation of TCM internationalization and TCM culture“going global”strategy.
