摘　　要：陈荣捷《老子》译本具有独特的表征、实质和功能。陈译本融严谨的学术研究与翻译为一体是“学案式”深度翻译。深度翻译实现多维度阐释哲学术语与创造知识增强译本接受性的功能,也凸显陈荣捷不忍中国哲学被误读,“以中述中”和批评其他译本的中哲西传责任感。研究陈荣捷“学案式”深度翻译以期对学术翻译提供借鉴且反思时下对学术型翻译的批评标准。Wing-tsit Chan’s The Way of Lao Tzu(Tao te Ching) has unique features, nature and function. Chan’s translation is an academic research with thick translation. Thick translation enhances the acceptability of translation by multi-dimensional interpretation of philosophical terminology and creative knowledge. It also highlights that Wing-tsit Chan’s responsibility for Chinese philo-sophy. Chan cannot bear the misunderstanding of Chinese philosophy, so he criticizes other translations and interprets and translates Chinese philosophy by himself. Research on Wing-tsit Chan’s The Way of Lao Tzu(Tao te Ching) provides a model and successful experience for academic translation and a reflection on the current standards of translation criticism for academic translation.
