摘 要:交际教学法在我国的英语教学中运用广泛,但实际使用中不少教师对交际法之精髓仍然缺乏充分的认识。从方法论的角度重新审视交际教学法,对比分析其理论核心“交际能力”和语用能力培养的内在联系,认为在后方法时代,交际法已不再是一整套引自西方的具体方法,而是演化为一个中心和四项宏观原则,其核心目标是培养语用能力,这和我国当前的英语教学要求高度契合,如果运用得当必将有效推进我国的英语教学实践。Although communicative language teaching(CLT)as a method is widely used in English teaching nationwide,there is a lack of adequate understanding of the spirit of CLT among quite a few Chinese teachers.Through a methodological examination of CLT and an analysis of the innate relationship between communicative competence and pragmatic competence,it is argued that CLT is no longer a mere method borrowed from the West,but a"methodology"underscoring one central goal,that is,"pragmatic competence development"and four general principles.Its pedagogical goal accords highly with the current official requirements of English teaching in China,and its proper application will definitely promote English teaching in China to the next level.
