摘  要:赵宪章在建构基本理论、开展专题研究和整理文献史料方面为文学与图像关系研究成长为一门新学科“文学图像学”奠定了坚实的基础,亦为源于西方的图像学、符号学理论的发展完善作出了重要贡献,同时还为学界带来一股“实学”之风,具体表现在现实关怀与人文情怀、中国问题与西学之鉴、逻辑推演与历史传统三个方面。他的文学图像论是秉持立足中国、借鉴国外的原则建构中国学术体系、话语体系的一次成功践行,其原创的跨学科研究方法为其他人文学科开辟新的问题域、建立新的研究范式提供了重要启示,其为学之途体现了荀子所说的“君子之学”的精神。Zhao Xianzhang has laid a solid foundation for the study of the relationship between literature and image to grow into a new discipline “literary iconology” in the aspects of constructing basic theories, carrying out special research and sorting out literature and historical materials. He has also made important contributions to the development and improvement of iconology and semiotic theory originating from the West. At the same time, he has also brought a “practical learning” to the academic circle, which is embodied in three aspects: realistic concern and humanistic feelings, Chinese problems and Western learning, logical deduction and historical tradition. His literary image theory is a successful practice of constructing Chinese academic system and discourse system by adhering to the principle of basing on China and drawing lessons from foreign countries. His original interdisciplinary research method provides important enlightenment for other humanities to open up new problem domains and establish new research paradigms. His research life embodies the spirit of “gentleman’s study” mentioned by Xunzi.
