摘　　要：“双高”建设的最终目标是“引领新时代职业教育实现高质量发展”。实现“双高”建设目标必须依靠高素质的教师队伍,文章以提高英语教师文化素养为中心,探讨了“双高”建设背景下英语教师提高自身文化素养的策略,即具备良好职业道德素养、学习英语专业知识、了解跨学科相关知识、丰富语言素材、学习教育教学理论、勇于创新,以及英语教师提高文化素养对“双高”建设的重要意义;只有拥有一批高素养的教师队伍,才能培养出高素质的技术技能人才,促进职业教育的高质量发展。The aim of Double-Height Construction is to promote the high-quality development of modern vocational education,which relies on teachers with good qualities.Therefore,English teachers have to improve themselves by having the professional ethics,gaining professional and interdisciplinary knowledge,improving language skills,studying educational theory and being innovative.Only in these ways can they be more qualified for teaching and cultivate excellent students,which will definitely promote the development of vocational education.
