奈达功能对等理论的国内外研究现状及存在的不足

摘　　要：20世纪60年代奈达初次提出功能对等理论,20世纪80年代这一理论被广泛应用及讨论,21世纪初呈现出多样化应用和发展趋势。该文采用文献分析法,通过系统回顾国内外相关研究,整理出奈达理论在翻译领域的主要观点及应用实例,旨在探讨奈达功能对等理论的国内外研究现状及其不足之处。同时,对不同学者的批评观点进行比较分析,探究理论在翻译实践中的适用性和限制。结果显示,尽管奈达功能对等理论在翻译实践中取得了一定成功,并为翻译研究提供了重要框架,但也面临诸多挑战,如理论与实践结合不够、跨学科研究不足、实证研究深度不足及对译者主体性的忽视。结论认为,在日益频繁的跨文化交流背景下,奈达功能对等理论仍具重要价值,但需不断修正和完善,以提升其在翻译实践中的有效性和适应性。Since its introduction by Nida in the 1960s,the theory of functional equivalence has undergone extensive application and discussion throughout the 1980s,leading to its diversified application and development trends by the early 21st century.This study employs a literature review method,systematically examining domestic and international research to consolidate the key viewpoints and applications of Nida's theory in the field of translation.The aim of this paper is to explore the current state and shortcomings of Nida's functional equivalence theory in both domestic and international contexts.Additionally,it includes a comparative analysis of various scholars’critiques to investigate the theory's applicability and limitations in translation practice.The results indicate that while Nida's functional equivalence theory has achieved some success in translation practice and provided a significant framework for translation research,it also faces several challenges,such as insufficient integration of theory and practice,lack of interdisciplinary research,limited depth in empirical studies,and neglect of translator subjectivity.The conclusion asserts that despite these issues,Nida's functional equivalence theory remains valuable in the context of increasing cross-cultural communication,but it requires ongoing refinement and enhancement to improve its effectiveness and adaptability in translation practice.
