教育博士项目中TESOL人才培养研究——以美国十所高校为例

摘　　要：本文从U. S. News发布的美国大学研究生院和教育学院中选取了前十所具有TESOL教育博士项目的大学进行考察。调查发现,在美国的教育体系中,TESOL博士专业学位尚未进行独立设置,而是放在教育博士中的课程与教学专业、教育领导力专业和读写教育专业中。在美国高校中,招生形式相对灵活,教学形式多样,不同的学校在课程结构中的侧重点不同。本研究可以为我国国际中文教育博士人才培养带来以下启示:(1)入学要求中可增加职业规划;(2)课程体系中注重研究方法的训练;(3)增强课程的实践性;(4)采用多样化课堂教学方式。This paper examines the top ten universities with TESOL Ed.D.programs from the graduate schools and colleges of education in the U.S.published by U.S.News.The survey found that the doctoral degree in TESOL has not been set up independently in the U.S.education system,but is placed in the Curriculum and Instruction,Educational Leadership,and Literacy Education programs in the Ed.D.program.In American colleges and universities,the admission form is relatively flexible;the teaching forms are diverse;and different schools have different focuses in the curriculum structure.This study can bring the following insights to the cultivation of doctoral talents in international Chinese education in China:(1)career planning descriptions can be added to the admission requirements;(2)the curriculum system focuses on the training of research methods;(3)the practicality of the curriculum is enhanced;and(4)diverse classroom teaching methods are adopted.
