摘　　要：利用“MicrosoftWord 2 0 0 0”和“MicrosoftPowerPoint 2 0 0 0”等操作平台 ,用多媒体语言实验室和多媒体计算机网络教室辅助大学英语写作和精读的一些教学活动 ,阐述了如何利用这些软件设计多媒体课件 ,讲授写作方法 ,训练写作技能 ,讲授精读课文的要点 ,介绍文化背景知识 ,以及如何利用网络进行答疑并与学生进行课后交流。根据教学实践结果 。This paper introduces some teaching activities on College English writing and Intensive Reading courses in multimedia language labs and multimedia computer network classrooms, aided by 'Microsoft Word 2000' and 'Microsoft PowerPoint 2000'. The author illustrates how to utilize these two systems to design multimedia courseware, how to instruct English Writing methodology, train students' writing skills, lecture on the focal point in the texts of the Intensive Reading Book, introduce the cultural background knowledge and how to make use of Intranet or Internet to answer students' inquiry as well as exchange various information with students after class. Some advantages and disadvantages of multi-computer-aided College English instruction are also summarized according to the author's findings in the teaching practice.
