摘　　要：中国古典小说名著具有不可译 (英译 )的现象。从语音和字形两方面都存在可译性限度 。The purpose of this essay is to discuss the problems of translating Classical Chinese novels into English with special reference to the linguistic untranslatability. The phonological and graphological features of the original are analyzed and the practicability of various translation methods is evaluated.
