摘　　要：通过分析当前大学英语听力教学现状,探讨了利用现代信息技术、多媒体技术进行大学英语听力教学改革创新的新模式,同时也提出了现代信息教学的重要性和教师在现代信息技术、多媒体教学环境中的作用以及作为一个现代外语教师应具备的基本素质和面临的挑战。This article analyses the current situation in listening teaching at colleges and probes the new teaching models of the utilization of information technology and multimedia technology in the reform and innovation of listening teaching; it also puts forward the importance of information education and the roles, the basic requirements of being a modern language teacher as well as the challenges to confront after adopting information technology and WLT.
