摘　　要：本文探讨了开放本科英语专业平时作业组织实施、管理及质量控制的研究与实践。首先,从远程教育的目的、意义和特点去分析平时作业是实施这种教育不可缺少的组成部分;然后,客观地回顾了宁波电大外语系两年来,在加强对本科远程开放学生的平时作业实施和管理上所走过的历程;最后,总结出适合专业特点,符合现代远程开放教育精神的平时作业管理方案及其可行性和重要性。This paper analyzes the study and practice of the organization, management, and quality control of the regular assignments in English major in distance education. The purposes, and characteristics of distance education determine that the practice of the regular assignments is an integrated part of this form of education. Then, it reviews the process and management of the practice of the assignments carried out in Foreign Languages Department, Ningbo Radio & TV University for the past two years. Finally, this study leads to the conclusion that the practice of regular assignments meets the characteristics of English major, and the ways the assignments are practiced are workable and important.
