摘　　要：本文探讨对中式菜肴名称进行口译的特点和要求以及口译前应作的准备。简析中式菜肴的命名方式和类型 ,结合实例归纳总结中式菜肴名称的翻译方法和技巧 。This paper probes the demands on interpreting Chinese dish names and preparation work for interpretation activity in advance,briefly analyzes the ways of naming Chinese dishes and the types of Chinese dish names,summarizes the skills and methods of interpreting Chinese dish names into English ones,and points out interpreter's cultural awareness plays an important role in interpretation.
