摘　　要：文章试阐述成人教育在经济和社会发展中的重要地位和作用及其在构建学习型社会中的特点和优势;深入剖析成人教育当前面临的主要困难和问题,并提出策略性思考,以期在构建学习型社会奔小康的历史机遇和伟大实践中,大力推进成人教育的改革、发展和创新,拓宽成人教育办学空间。This paper elaborates the important role of adult education in the development of economy and society and its features and advantages in setting up a learning-type society. And it makes a through analysis of the major difficulties and problems confronted by adult education and some tactical reflections on how to promote the reform , development and innovation of adult education and broaden the ways of running schools for adult education in this historic opportunity and great practice of setting up a learning-type society proceeding to being well-off.
