对高职高专英语教学的思考

摘　　要：面对21世纪的新形势和我国加入WTO,以及国家对高职高专教育提出的新的要求,特别是人才市场对高职高专学生英语水平(基本能力)提出的新要求,更显得英语尤为重要。目前,高职高专英语还存在哪些问题,应该如何进一步地改进,是英语教育工作者始终应该思考的问题。本文在对目前英语教学现状进行调查研究的基础上,分析了存在的问题,并提出了一些切实可行的改进办法。English becomes more and more important in the new situation of the 21st century after China's entrance into WTO because both government and job market of China have proposed new demands to higher vocational and specialized education and especially for students' English proficiency(the basic skills). English pedagogical workers should all along think out the problems in higher vocational and specialized English teaching and learning and their solutions. Based on the investigation of current English teaching and learning, this paper analyzed problems existing in higher vocational and specialized English teaching and learning and raised practical and feasible measures.
