格式塔意象重构：话剧翻译美学之维

摘　　要：话剧翻译领域长期存在所译剧本不适合演出、受众无法接受译剧审美意趣等问题。格式塔心理学与翻译美学相互融合,为话剧翻译研究提供了新的思路,对于解决话剧译本的上述问题具有启发意义。话剧翻译包括"直感性"、"诉求性"和"表演性"三个基本特性。格式塔心理学的"格式塔质"和"格式塔意象"等核心概念以及"格式塔法则",为译者成功地翻译话剧提供了方法论上的指导。格式塔心理学与翻译美学之结合与互补可以揭示译者如何解构原剧的格式塔意象、用译入语重构并力求受众能够接受译剧的格式塔意象等一系列问题的关键所在。话剧翻译美学方法的核心在于译者遵照各方面要求和原则,全面解构原剧,完整构造格式塔意象,准确重构格式塔意象,以使原剧中"人物性格"和"戏剧冲突"等格式塔意象及其包含的艺术和审美特质,在译剧中予以再现并被译剧受众所充分接受和欣赏。The study of modern drama translation has long been impeded by such unsettled issues as the non-performability of some modern drama translations and target receptors misunderstanding of the translation＇ s aesthetic meanings. Gestalt psychology and translation aesthetics are therefore integrated to find an aesthetic approach to the said translation, which provides tentative solutions to the foregoing issues. Basically, successful modern drama translation features＂sensibility ＂,＂reactivity＂ and＂performablhty＂. The Gestalt law and such core reactlvlty concepts of Gestalt psychology as Gestalt quality and Gestalt image can provide methodological guidance for modern drama translation. The integrated use of Gestalt psychology and translation aesthetics brings to light a number of key issues as to how the translator de-constructs the G-image of the source text, re-construct the target text, and makes the TT＇s G-images acceptable to audience. Furthermore, the key to the G-reconstruction-oriented aesthetic approach to modern drama translation is that within the aesthetic parameters of the original drama and with the Gestalt law and translation principles, the translator de-constructs the ST, constructs the G-images in their entirety, and re-constructs and represents in the TT the G-images, especially of the two major G-images in the ST ＂characters of characters＂ and ＂dramatic conflicts＂ so that the re-constructed G-images as well as their aesthetic and Gestalt qualities will be well received and properly appreciated.
