摘　　要：图式理论认为阅读理解的过程就是新信息与大脑中原有知识相互作用的过程。因此教师在教学中应采用灵活的教学方法,加大背景知识输入,激活、丰富学生的图式知识,提高学生的英语阅读理解能力。Seherna theory claims that the process of reading comprehension is an interactive processing of new information and prior knowledge in one＇s mind. Therefore, teachers should adopt flexible teaching method, enlarge background knowledge input, stimulate and enrieh students＇ schema knowledge to promote their English reading eomprehension.
