摘　　要：公示语是一种公共场所的用语,它的英译是为了方便在我国境内的外国友人。本文试从目的论的角度对公示语的翻译进行了探讨,指出公示语的翻译应以归化翻译策略为主,遵循简洁性、规约性、互文性等原则,并提出了三种翻译方法:直接借用法、间接模仿法、解释意义法。Signs is often seen in public places. With the increasing development of China, the C-E translation of signs is getting more and more important. This paper explores signs＇ C-E translation from the perspective of Skopos Theory. In the paper, the author holds that domestication strategy should be employed dominantly in signs＇ C-E translation. In addition, the author puts forward three principles and three methods on C-E translation of signs.
