摘 要:城乡教育统筹作为当前我国一项基本教育政策和教育发展方式,关系到西部农村教育的振兴,深刻影响着西部农村教师的专业化发展。城乡教育统筹可为西部农村教师专业化发展提供必要的社会环境条件,有利于西部农村教师获得专业化发展的公平机会,可激发西部农村教师专业化发展的信念和信心。城乡教育统筹有利于缩小城乡教育之间的显著差距,不断为西部农村教育提供更多更好的教育资源,而城乡教育统筹实施的方向是农村教师的专业化发展。The urban - rural education, as one of the basic education policies and one of the education devel- opment modes in our country, is significant in the revitalization of the western rural education and makes a profound impact on the western rural teachers' professional development. It can provide the necessary social conditions for the western rural teachers' professional development, help the western rural teachers to get fair opportunities for professional development, and inspire the belief and confidence from the western rural teachers in professional de- velopment. The co -ordinate urban and rural education plan is conducive to narrowing the gap between urban and rural education, continues to provide more and better educational resources for the western rural education, and takes the professional development of teachers in rural areas as its priority of implementation.
