典籍翻译的伦理研究视角——以《道德经》中“水”的翻译为例

摘　　要：典籍翻译在文化传播方面有着极为严谨的伦理需求。作为中国典籍的重要代表,《道德经》的文化精神与哲理智慧弥足珍贵。在社会化的翻译活动中,译者必须以一定伦理准则为导向。从翻译伦理的视角,分析如何在《道德经》英译本中有效地传递"水"所喻指的文化意象,试图以译者的伦理价值取向为出发点,讨论如何将翻译伦理模式用于指导具体翻译实践行为。The translation of Chinese Classics craves for more intensive ethical support and monitoring.As an important part of Chinese Classics,Daode jing is greatly embodied by its rich cultural and philosophi-cal treasure.In socializing translation activities,the translator should constantly follow the given ethical restriction.This paper probes into the English translations of “shui”in Daode jing from the perspective of translation ethics to make better use of translation ethical models in the detailed textual analysis.
