摘　　要：语义翻译和交际翻译是纽马克翻译理论中最重要、最有特色的组成部分 ,语义翻译法具有绝对意义 ,交际翻译法具有相对意义。语义翻译法集逐字翻译、直译和忠实翻译的优势 ,交际翻译法集归化、意译和地道翻译的优势 ,二者相结合的翻译方法 ,应该说是最理想的翻译方法。The linguistic meaning translation and communicative meaning translation is the most important and most characteristic component part of Peter Newmark's translation theory.The linguistic meaning translation method possesses the absolute meaning,the communicative meaning translation method has the relative meaning.The linguistic meaning translation collects the advantages of 'word to word translation','direct translation'and'loyal translation';the communicative meaning translation concentrates the advantages of'summing up translation','free translation'and'genuine translation'.The combination of both is the most ideal translation method.
