谈研究生的公共英语教学

摘　　要：文章从更新教学观念、教学内容和教学方法3个方面探讨了新时期研究生公共英语的教学改革,指出教师应当树立以学习者为中心展开教学的新观念,摈弃传统教学以教师为中心的"一言堂"模式;教学内容上应以学习者的需求、发展为指针,注重知识的社会实用性;教学方法上应采取听说法和交际法两种方法之长,以交际为目的,以对话为形式,注重提高学习者的听说能力,从根本上改变传统"填鸭式"教学,形成符合现代教育需求的以培养素质为目的的自主教育模式。Graduate English teaching of the period is discussed in terms of three aspects:teaching concept,teaching content and teaching methods.Teachers should have the concept that classes should be learner-centered rather than traditionally teacher-centered.Teaching should be guided by learners′ demands and development,and should focus on knowledge′s social practicality.As to the mdthods,adapt the advantages of the Audio-lingual Method and the Communicative Approach.Teaching is communication-oriented by means of conversation in order to enhance learners′ listening and speaking abilities.Traditional cramming method should be essentially changed so that modern self-education that aims to develop makings can be formed to meet modern education′s requests.
