我院英语课程设置改革的必要性与可行性分析

摘　　要：本文通过对我院教学大纲、航海英语考试大纲的研究分析,以及教学实践的验证和对培训班学员的调查,从全国大学英语教学改革及船舶驾驶专业的特点入手,论证了优化课程设置,压缩基础英语,注重船员实用英语能力培养的可行性和必要性。This article argues about the feasibility on the Curriculum Design under the reform in our college , based on the analysis of The Teaching Syllabus of QMC & The Syllabus on Maritime English Test. Having been tested by years of practical teaching and investigation conducted recently, it is proved that it's necessary and possible to improve the English curriculum design, to condense the general English course and to focus on cultivation of mariners'language ability.
