摘　　要：高职高专英语教学改革的目标向英语教师提出了新的要求和挑战。为适应新的教学理念和模式以及新的教材和检测法，高职高专英语教师除了具备扎实的专业知识和良好的职业素质以外，还应重塑与之相适应的各种教学技能或能力。这些技能或能力包括：交流技能，多媒体教学技能，跨学科能力和教研能力。The goal of English teaching reform of higher vocational education makes a new request and challenge to English teachers. To apply to the new teaching perspectives and methods, as well as new texts and tests, English teachers of higher vocational education should re-develop different kinds of teaching skills and abilities besides profound knowledge of the subject and professional qualities. These skills and abilities include communication skills, skills to operate multi-media, knowledge of other fields and ability of teaching research.
