摘　　要：论述了古罗马时期最杰出的教育家之一昆体良的教师观,即作为教师必须德为先、识为本、法为术、爱为魂。认为其《雄辩术原理》中系统阐述的教育思想对现阶段的教师教育尤其是教师素质的养成具有现实的启示意义。The view of teacher of Quintilianus, one of the most outstanding educator in ancient Rome, is discussed, which are, teacher must have both ability and political integrity, know well about his subject and at the same time use teaching methods flexibly, a teacher should regard his students as their own flesh and blood. The educational thought systematically expounded in his Institutio Oratoria has realistic enlightenment for teachers＇ education at the present stage, especially for the cultivation of teachers＇ quality.
